Rowan of the Wood - Young Adult Fantasy
An ancient wizard possesses a young boy after a millennium of imprisonment in a magic wand. He emerges from the child in the face of danger and discovers Fiana, his new bride from the past, has somehow survived time and become something evil.
Christine first had the idea for Rowan on an airplane. She scribbled down her ideas on airsick bags, and a new story was born.
Dalton Publishing, a publisher of literary fiction, felt that Rowan fit in well with thier Mission and decided to take it on. It will be released in August 2, 2008 into bookstores nationwide.
The cover design is by talented artist Ia Layadi of Wink! Design Studios. She is also working on a Graphic Novel version of the book.
Christine & Ethan co-wrote the book over a year and plan to go on a nationwide book tour in a bio-diesel powered RV with their family of canine/feline children.
In the mean time, Christine has already started drafting the sequel to Rowan of the Wood. Ultimately, it will be a 5-book series.
