Christine Rose is “bound” for success.
Take Off, a French distribution company, announced that
Christine Rose’s incendiary documentary “Liberty Bound” will be premiering in
André Lazare, CEO and director of Acquisitions of Take Off claims that Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 911 isn’t as good as “Liberty Bound.”
Lazare jibes, “Sure, he had more money; more fame; but it’s just an anti-Bush movie. ‘Liberty Bound’ is more intelligently made. It’s political, but it’s also socially relevant.”
Lazare’s partner Patrick Gimenez has this to say about “Liberty Bound” in comparison
with Fahrenheit 911: “They are two movies—same subject but in two different
ways.
When Rose was asked about the comparison with Michael Moore and his documentary, she said, “Michael Moore has been a huge inspiration to me. I think ‘Liberty Bound’ and ‘Fahrenheit 911’ will ultimately compliment each other.”
Rose explains that she was deep in Production in February
2003 when
This is Rose’s first feature-length documentary, but Rose says she won’t stop here.
“I’m at the beginning of my career. This is a great way to enter the world of filmmaking. Thanks to Take Off, I’ve enjoyed a level of success already that is only dreamt of by millions of aspiring filmmakers,” says Rose.
It looks like Christine Rose might give Michael Moore a run for his money!
